This is the first post in a series of posts about our family's trip to Washington D.C. the place of our nations capitol. To read the intro post simply scroll down the page until you see a post entitled Intro Post. This marks the beginning of the series of posts on our trip to Washington D.C.

CAPITAL:
The very fist thing that we visited in D.C. was the capitol. Superman parked the van and took a taxi to where we were waiting for him. We then proceeded to take a tour of the capitol. Here are some pictures of the building and of us at the building. The picture above is the statue on top of the Capitol Building entitled "Freedom"

LIBRARY OF CONGRESS:
The second stop that we made was at the Library of Congress. The Library of Congress was not a highlight of our trip, but a stop that We, the kids, felt was necessary, and we also ate lunch there. Here are some pictures of the Library of Congress.

The supreme court was the third stop on our tour of D.C. Here we enjoyed the architecture and the history of the building as well as what goes on in the building. It does help that Superman is a lawyer. Here are some pictures.
