Oh my

This is a crazy day. It is supposed to rain unfortunately. I have soccer practice until 5:30. Aly has art until 5:30 and must eat dinner there because she has a soccer game at 6:00. Meanwhile, Mom will take Matthew to target to get new shoes for church. We are so busy it is not even funny. Does anyone want to join the Schroll family today? I didn't think so! It is a busy day, a day that will pass by and probably never be specifically remember, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. My family is the best, even if we are insane. Well, there you are. That was the very busy Thursday. (I hope Aly plays and wins!)-Laura

pilgrim on friday

We have a big game on Friday. We will be playing the team that we lost 8-1 and9-2 . I really want to win this game. I do not know if we will be able to. They are better than us if you haven't noticed. We are going to play bunker defense. Everyone stays back except for me. Hannah and Ketorah can go up as well, but everyone else stays back and doesn't let them get a shot off. I really want to win.-Laura

Back from camp

Today I came home from BRS camp. We all had fun and are extremely tired. I did almost everything. We didn't even have enough people to canoe so John and I did two races. Mine were back to back. I even had to play tennis. It was a best of five. We lost our first three. I do not think that I want to play tennis anymore. The boys ,freshmen, got shaving creamed as well as crabs in sleeping bags. They, the people who did it, got in trouble. Therefore, The seniors had to forfeit their grab bag relay spot to us. We ended up beating the juniors and took first in that. I did not get to bed until about one thirty. Some of the seniors said that they were up until four. Everyone was very tired this morning.-Laura

So much for that

We had our first soccer game this past Friday. We played Pilgrim. We lost 8-1. How sad! I scored so I was happy. I know that we will improve as the season goes on. I think that all we can do is get better. Yesterday we played Atlantic. we lost 3-2. I scored our first goal and then I had the ball in the corner and made a left foot cross. The Atlantic player put out her hand. We received a PK and Hannah scored on that. We lost, but it sounds a little bit more acceptable. These two games that we played were part of a tournament. We finished last. We received that christian character award. I wounder why? Jackie and I made all stars. Well, that was my soccer weekend. Hopefully we will do better on Tuesday. -Laura

we are back!

This past week was sooooooooooo much fun. We biked, walked, ran, and talked an awful lot. We held a washer tournament. Bethany, Caleb, Aunt Shelly, and I got to go kayaking for an hour for free. We all tried disc golf with the special discs. We went on a so called scavenger hunt that included the use of Kodak digital cameras and Magellan GPS. It was really just a take a picture of where you are at when the distance hits 0 on the GPS. O well, We decided that we would make our own scavenger hunts. The kids broke up into pairs and created a scavenger hunt and then traded and you had to figure out another teams. We all had fun with that. Of course we did the trail in the wood, but grandma refused to go. This time we ran it. Our backs hurt after that.
